An Easter spin on a good traditional oatmeal

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Oats – as per the portion on your plan
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon  
  • 40g grated carrot
  • 100ml unsweetened almond milk
  • Unsweetened yoghurt – as per the portion on your plan
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar free maple syrup (“Queen” is a great brand) 
  • Chopped walnuts – as per the portion on your plan
  •  METHOD:

    Add carrot, cinnamon, milk, salt and water into a saucepan and cook on allow heat on stove top until oats and carrot cooked down. Top with yoghurt, maple syrup and walnuts.

    Serves 1
