An Easter spin on a good traditional oatmeal
INGREDIENTS:
Oats – as per the portion on your plan
Pinch of salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
40g grated carrot
100ml unsweetened almond milk
Unsweetened yoghurt – as per the portion on your plan
1 tablespoon of sugar free maple syrup (“Queen” is a great brand)
Chopped walnuts – as per the portion on your plan
METHOD:
Add carrot, cinnamon, milk, salt and water into a saucepan and cook on allow heat on stove top until oats and carrot cooked down. Top with yoghurt, maple syrup and walnuts.
