The Transform challenge is an 8 week fat loss focused challenge designed to push you to dig deep to reach your goals. This challenge will give you optimal fat loss results, whilst learning how to maintain them.

We have created a brand new structure for this challenge to suit those that are just beginning their journey with us and for our returning challengers that are ready to step it up a notch.

You will have the option to select between a meal plan or macro approach for your nutrition which will be completely customised and created by one of our qualified nutritionists, alongside our training programs that are designed by our head coach and founder Jake Campus.

No matter what your current fitness level is, or knowledge around health and fitness, this challenge will provide you with everything and MORE to be successful throughout your journey.

Each nutrition plan is designed and individually created for each client based on the information you provide to us in your pre-assessment form.

You will have the option to choose between a meal plan or macro approach for your nutrition during your challenge.

If you’re an experienced macro tracker we will provide you with customised macro targets that you can track within the app, as well as provide you with example meal plans, how to create balanced meal guides and recipe e-books for you to utilise in your JCN vault.

All meal plan clients will receive a 2-3 meal swap options per prescribed meal including a creative recipe to keep your nutrition as exciting as possible during your fat loss journey.

We provide all clients with a complete list of JCN approved ingredients and food swaps that you will find on your plan, so you can create even more recipes and meal options to suit.

If you select a meal plan approach, you will also be allocated JCN creative recipes to add a creative touch to your daily meals within your customised plan. These recipes are alongside 2-3 alternative swap options as well as a full list of protein, fat, and carb swaps that you can utilise to keep your meals feeling new and exciting.

If you are an experienced macro tracker, you can choose the macro only approach when filling out your forms. After your nutritionist evaluates your pre-assessment, they will assign custom macro goals, that includes protein, carbohydrates, fats, and daily calorie targets. You will also have access to the JCN recipe books and educational vault which includes PDF’s on how to create a balanced meal and fuel your body correctly. 

PLEASE NOTE: Opting for the macro-only approach requires you to build out your own day of meals to eat, we suggest only selecting this approach if you have experience tracking macros using app like MyFitnessPal.

These sessions will include weight training with a hypertrophy focus to ensure you are progressing each week with your strength. You will have the option to choose between gym OR home workouts, as well as being prescribed additional cardio and step targets as required by your nutritionist to ensure you achieve optimal fat loss throughout your challenge.

The Transform challenge over different. training levels for those that are new to our challenges and those that are returning for another round. If you are new to our challenges you will select LEVEL 1 for your training and if you are a returning challenger you will select LEVEL 2 for your training which will be more advanced than your last round.

Whether you choose to work out from the gym or at home, our programs give you the ability to train at your desired intensity and progress at the rate you choose. We will prescribe you 5 workouts for the week, 3 being the minimum amount of sessions you will need to complete and the additional 2 days will be optional based on your fitness level and ability to fit these sessions in.

For those of you unable to train from a gym and wanting to choose an at home training approach, we have created a structure training program using minimal equipment to improve your overall fitness levels whilst achieving. fat loss result.

Your training programs will be accessible within your JCN app where you can log and track your progress for each session and see an extensive video exercise library to demonstrate any movements you aren’t sure how to perform.

I highly would recommend this challenge to everyone, it’s insane the work and effort that goes into these challenges, definitely worth it!

I came into this challenge wanting to lose fat and I have achieved that. I started off at 104kgs and now weigh 92.9kgs. I have learnt that you are still able to enjoy nice foods as long as they fit within your daily calorie intake.

I find myself checking the back of packets and using my fitness pal to calculate macros. Overall, I have enjoyed the challenge. Although at times it has been hard, it has shown not only myself but others that I can be disciplined and have the drive to accomplish whatever I put my mind to.

Challenge VS. Lifestyle approach?

It’s important  to note that this is a challenge and not an everyday lifestyle approach. We will be pushing hard over the first 6 weeks to get you optimal results before reversing you back out of your deficit. Although we give you a vast range of meal options and ingredients to utilise, we cannot guarantee that certain food items you want included will be prescribed.

This challenge is designed to not only give you incredible results, but to ensure that you leave these 8 weeks with new nutrition and training knowledge, and the right skills to be able to continue succeeding within your health and fitness journey. 

Please note this is a challenge and is designed to get you a more rapid loss of body fat in the first 6 weeks so the deficit will be more aggressive than if you were to not have time restrictions (being the 8 weeks). Meals and ingredients are selected to ensure we get the best results possible during this time. If you are wanting a more flexible approach to your nutrition we would suggest you select a lifestyle plan.

 

The lifestyle PREMIUM plan is the closest service we offer to the challenge that will allow you more flexibility as mentioned above.

CHALLENGE T&Cs

Frequently Asked Questions

Sign-ups will officially close on Thursday 2nd of May 2024 to ensure your nutritionist has adequate time to set up all challengers programs and to ensure that our clients have enough time to prepare before day 1 of the challenge beginning.

Day 1 of the challenge will begin on Monday 6th of May. The final day of the challenge will end on Sunday 30th June.

Your weekly subscription will begin from the day you sign up to the challenge. For most this will mean that you would have finished paying for your 8 week challenge before the end date. Alternatively you can pay for the entire 8 weeks upfront when signing up.

After you have confirmed your place in the challenge, you will receive instructions via the email address you signed up with, on how to download and create your app account.

You will then be sent a link to create your app username and password within the first 3 days after signing up. Please ensure you keep an eye on your junk and spam inbox as well during this time.

You will have the ability to contact Jake and ask questions during the webinars as well as via our closed FB community group where regular updates and notices will be posted. Our fellow challengers may also be able to answer any questions you may have if they have previously been answered so we encourage our challengers to utilise this platform that we have created for your convenience and experience.

You will be able to add notes for your nutritionist throughout your fortnightly check-ins however any questions outside of check-in you will also be able to contact us via challenge@jcn.co.nz.

Please do not send Jake Instagram messages with challenge related questions as these are easily missed within the masses and will be responded to in a timely manner via the Facebook group or the challenge email address listed above.

No, you will need to remain on either Meal plan OR Macros from when your first plan is sent to you. These take time to set up as they are individually created and customised to your preferences, current stats, and goals. If they are changed throughout the challenge, it may affect your overall results

However, please note that if you do select a meal plan approach, you will also receive a full macro breakdown should you wish to make amendments to your meal plan if you have the knowledge to do so. 

We only recommend selecting a macro approach if you have tracked macros before and understand how to build out your own full day of eating.

If you are an experienced macro tracker, you can choose the macro only approach when filling out your forms. After your nutritionist evaluates your pre-assessment, they will assign custom macro goals, that includes protein, carbohydrates, fats, and daily calorie targets. Unfortunately, your app subscription will also end after the challenge finishes as this will be re set and programmed for the next round of challenges.

If you do not have access to weights, bands can be utilized only, however this will need to be specified on your initial questionnaire form. 

No, there is a strict no refund or cancellation policy in place for our challenge service. As this is a capped service, when you sign up you are taking someone else’s ability to sign up.

Therefore, you will not be granted a cancellation or refund for any reason including medical reasons after you make your initial sign up payment.

Debt collection will be used for those that do not complete their payments in a timely manner which can result in additional fees and affect your personal credit rating.

Although we cannot extend your challenge app subscription, if you sign up to the following challenge we can keep your app account active to store your data.
