What is the RESET challenge?

Are you ready to RESET your routine after the silly season? Are you feeling a little lost or unsure of the direction you want to take to approach your new year goals?… then this is the perfect place for you to start your new year journey.

We are getting ready to kick-off our first 8-week challenge of 2024, to help you reset and re-align your health and fitness goals.

The RESET challenge has been strategically timed to give you 6 weeks of FAT LOSS, followed by 2 weeks of REVERSE DIETING to ensure that you can shed those happy kilos you might have gained over the festive season and keep them off.

Throughout these 8 weeks, you will work with Jake and our team of university qualified nutritionists to give you a completely customised experience with your nutrition.

There will be 2 different gym training options so you can choose how you want to train! Join team Jake and create a strong, sculpted V-shaped physique OR team Alicia and create a toned, hourglass bikini body with a focus on strengthening your glutes. This challenge will also include the option to train at home.

We are going to get you back on track, feeling confident and in control so that you can take on your 2024 goals feeling your best.

“I came into this challenge wanting to lose fat and I have achieved that. I started off at 104kgs and now weigh 92.9kgs. I have learnt that you are still able to enjoy nice foods as long as they fit within your daily calorie intake. I find myself checking the back of packets and using my fitness pal to calculate macros. Overall, I have enjoyed the challenge. Although at times it has been hard, it has shown not only myself but others that I can be disciplined and have the drive to accomplish whatever I put my mind to.

I learnt how to manage my macros! I got a fitbit especially for this challenge and have had the best time figuring out how to get steps in and learnt so many more machines at the gym. I actually can’t believe how easy it was to loose weight so quickly! I love the logical and healthy approach.

I am so greatful for this challenge, my confidence has improved so much. I can’t really put it into words how much it means to not dread figuring out what to wear to meet friends etc. I look and feel so good.

When you first think of a transformation challenge you often think of someone losing a lot of weight or making a drastic body change, however this challenge for me was so much more than weight loss, yes I lost 3kg but I gained a whole lot more.

I gained confidence in my own skin, I gained drive and motivation for the gym again, I gained the ability to eat freely and not restrict myself on certain foods, yes I can have the foods I love and still make positive changes, I gained mental strength and I gained the knowledge to take with me in everyday life to keep improving and bettering myself every day.

Working with Jake has allowed me to understand more about foods that fuel me all while including treats for my sweet tooth! The challenge has been exactly what I’ve needed to get me back on track as I am currently 6 months post-partum and I am learning to love my new body has been a challenge in its own, given i have kept milk supply as my priority I wasn’t expecting to lose much weight however thanks to Jakes support I’ve managed to get back to my pre pregnancy weight while being able to maintain my milk supply and I am finally feeling like myself again which has been a huge win for my confidence!

My wins were committing to my nutrition plan even in social settings, staying consistent with drinking 3L of water and learning how to track my macros exactly right.

I found the experience tough on my social life but it was a good chance to change the activities I do with friends. Rather than going out for food we would go for a walk. I enjoyed being able to choose what I ate as long as it fit into my macros. I found the step limit hard whilst working from home but I really stepped things up in the last two weeks and made sure I went for extra walks to get my steps up. I’ve really enjoyed gaining even more knowledge about nutrition and training than I had before.
