Tikka Masala

Protein; Chicken breast, tofu or paneer – Clients use your prescribed protein and double for 2 serves.
Non members use 300g.
1 onion
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp crushed ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp garam masala
Chilli powder to taste
1/2 can crushed tomatoes
120mls lite cream (per portion – fat)

1. Heat non-stick pan and spray with cooking oil. Fry cumin seeds, onion, ginger and garlic until onion soften.
2. Add turmeric, coriander, chilli powder and 1/2 the garam masala. Stir until fragrance from spices gets released. Then add chicken, toss to combine. and cook for 5-7mins.
3. Once the chicken is sealed add the canned tomatoes and bring to boil. Once boiling reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 20-30mins (or until chicken is cooked through).
4. Add the remaining garam masala and season with salt. Turn off and remove from the heat and then pour in the cream. Mix together and garnish with fresh coriander.

???? Serve with 1-2 Wraps or basmati rice ( clients your prescribed portion )
