Home-made spicy potato wedges 🔥
The humble potato has been frowned upon for too long! Carbs are a vital part of your nutrition and believe it or not even a weight loss plan! It’s not always about what we are eating but how we are eating – food is energy, we can enjoy it but we should be mindful of our consumption.
Slice up your potatoes into wedges. ( The amount of spice will work well with 2-3 carb portions ) If you are doing a single serve take down to a light sprinkle with your spices.
Pop potato wedges into a bowl and coat with a light spray of oil.
Add to a seperate bowl: 1/2 teaspoon of cajun spice + 2 teaspoons of garlic salt + 1 teaspoon of paprika and 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder.
Mix spice blend then add to wedges and toss until coated.
Then place on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for 20minutes until golden and crunchy! 😆
Serve with greek yoghurt, natural coconut yoghurt OR the latest Barkers/ Watties 60% less sugar tomato or BBQ sauce.
