Spicy Potato Wedges

The humble potato has been frowned upon for too long! Carbs are a vital part of your nutrition and believe it or not even a weight loss plan! It’s not always about what we are eating but how we are eating – food is energy, we can enjoy it but we should be mindful of our consumption.

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Potatoes – as per your carb portion
  • Spray oil
  • 1/2t cajun spice
  • 2t garlic salt
  • 1t paprika
  • 1/2t chili powder
  • This amount of spice will work well with 2-3 carb portions. if you are making a single serve, reduce to a light sprinkle.

     METHOD:

    Slice up your potatoes into wedges.

    Pop potato wedges into a bowl and coat with a light spray of oil.

    Add spices to a seperate bowl and combine and then add to wedges. Toss until coated.

    Place on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until golden and crunchy!

    Serve with Barkers/Watties 60% less sugar tomato or BBQ sauce or any condiment from the approved JCN sauces list.
