INGREDIENTS
Beef Patty:
- 225g lean beef mince
- 1 tsp worcester sauce
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Spray olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Burger sauce:
- 60g natural yoghurt
- 1 gherkin, diced
- 1/2 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp American mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 onion, diced
- Iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 80g cheese, sliced
- 2 hamburger buns
- Tomato, sliced
- 2 gherkins, sliced
DIRECTIONS
Add all patty ingredients together in a large bowl, then divide mixture into four and shape into four thin patties. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add spray oil. Add patties and top with salt and pepper. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Flip the patties, add cheese to the top while the underside cooks for a further 2-3 minutes.
While the patties are cooking, heat another non-stick pan over medium-high heat and fry one side of each bun slice in a dry pan.
Mix up the burger sauce – combine all sauce ingredients. Mix through lettuce and onion.
Build your burgers to include two patties per bun. Dig in!
