Filo Pastry Pie


  • Spray oil
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely diced
  • Chicken or fish (as per 2 times the RAW protein portion on your plan)
  • 250g jarred meal sauce- Bolognese, mushroom, curry, etc
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 – 4 mushrooms, diced
  • 1/4 broccoli head, chopped
  • Handful of spinach
  • Filo pastry (use 2 times your DRY weight pasta portion – if you do not have this simply reach out to your nutritionist)



Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add oil and onion. Once it starts to sweat, add garlic followed by the protein of your choice and slightly brown. Add sauce and then simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste. Add vegetables and simmer for another 2 – 5 minutes.

Pour into an ovenproof dish and cover with filo pastry and bake until filo is golden brown.
