- Spray oil
- 1tsp cumin
- 1tsp paprika
- 1tsp oregano
- 1/4t chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- ½ onion, finely diced
- 100g salsa
- Black beans – as per your protein portion
- ½tsp stock powder + 1/3 cup of water
- Finely sliced red cabbage
- Juice from fresh lime
- Avocado – as per your fat portion
- Corn taco tortillas – as per carb portion
Heat pan and spray with oil. Add spices, garlic and onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. Mix in beans, then add remaining ingredients. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
Warm up corn tortillas by laying them in a hot dry pan for 20-30 seconds each side.
To tortillas, add bean mix, red cabbage, sliced avocado and a squeeze of fresh lime over the top.
For males or those with large main meals add ½ your protein portion i.e. if your plan has 200g RAW weight meat then add 100g RAW weight. If you are unsure on this please touch base with your nutritionist. Prawns or slow cooked beef works well!
